Join.me is a browser based, collaborative meeting tool that lets you share your screen instantly with others while connecting you with real time audio. Simply download the software to get the Join.me toolbar, find your 9-digit code to share with participants, and then connect audio through the conference line or internet. You can share your screen with up to 250 people, send files, chat with partcipants, switch screens, and more. This is a great tool to use for demos and trainings… we use it daily!
Speek has essentially replaced the choppy conference calls of the past that we have all suffered though. During registration, you set up a personalized link that you share however you want; text, email, skype.. whatever you prefer. To join the call, click on the link, enter your phone number, and wait for Speek to call you! Once on, you can see who’s joined, add/remove participants, share files, record sessions, and more. Say good riddance to elevator music and access codes.
Keeping up with your email inbox can be tough. Follow-up.cc is a simple and easy to use tool that helps you file, sort, and schedule with the click of a button. Put simply, it works as a reminder system. Instead of letting already opened emails you need to respond to build up, schedule them to reappear at a time when you can (or should) answer them. As one Event Farmer puts it, “Follow-up.cc has literally changed my life.” Not bad, eh?
It’s fitting that the Evernote logo features an elephant, because it helps you never forget! Evernote allows you to easily keep track of things by combining all the work on your computer, phone, tablet, and the web to serve as the central nerve system of your professional and personal lives. Take notes that sync across all devices, clip web pages including links and images, create and share presentations… Keep everything organized in one easily accessible place.
Trello is not only a great tool for collaborating with your colleagues, but it also helps hold everyone accountable for adhering to a timeline. Organize the projects you’re working on into boards, lists, and cards that denote timeline stages, give detailed information, and assign tasks to each participant. With one look you can see where something is in the process, who’s working on what, and what still needs to get done.
